. >> now let's go up to john sasaki who is in solano county where the winds are fueling the wild fire. what are crews telling you now? >> reporter: firefighters are still on scene trying to get a full handle on this. still trying to contain it. i want to show you a herd of cattle that was saved by the firefighters on scene and the crews still here. they are still looking for hot spots trying to get all the spots under control. just over here to the left, a home that was also spared. you can see still a lot of smoke in the background because it is very smoky. people including some school kids in grizzly island and rush ranch were evacuated. around the same time, the situation was very scary for ranchers near here. you can see flames coming very close to the property and spooking the livestock. the ranchers were trying to herd the animals out of harm's way and out of the barn. in a few minutes afterwards, the barn was engulfed in flames. what had fire officials concerned was the wither. >> temperatures are not bad. we are probably in the single digits at this point. strong winds. 40 mil
