in san francisco, i'm john sasaki, ktvu news. >>> your temperatures warm today.bably noticed it out there. these are the highs we had around the area today. you got numbers that were in the 80s and well heck there's some low 90s showing up out there in antioch and livermore 92. highs as we head into the next couple of days well highs tomorrow certainly going to be warmer. then still very warm on saturday. there's a live camera shot trying too show you the fog there. here's the fog from the satellite. you can see it's squishing through between the gate and what it tells you. kind of getting stuck here behind twin peeks. temperatures will have an opportunity to warm up tomorrow. the current temperatures are up there. you have lots of 70s in the inland bay valley. the forecast for tomorrow morning's fog. there it is. kind of like basically what we just outlined. a lit bit wants to get by down there in free monday. the idea is less fog right at the coast. you see it really go back. dense fog along the coast. visibilities might be squashed there but numbers no longer

ktvu's john sasaki is live where it happened. it turns out it could be more common this summer?porter: that is what the experts say. in that home, the backyard, 8:00 p.m. last night, the girl was playing. playing when it happen. firefighters rushed to the home after getting the 911 call and they started treating the girl. they found the snake in brush and put it in a jar. small snake to take with the girl to the hospital. she was airlifted to the hospital where she is in the icu in stable condition. the emergency department director said rattlesnake bites are easially survivable. -- easily survivable. >> they determine it is -- you know, does not -- you may be discharged. >> reporter: he showed us the hospital does have anti-ventm on hand. we met with a man, he removes the dangerous animals from schools and homes and relocates them far from people. he said the drought is bringing out more rattlesnakes but human activity also brings them out. >> problem is kids littering. rats, squirrels, mice. bees, yellow jackets. flies like this food. it attracts lizards. they eat lizards. it

ktvu's john sasaki was there and he joins us live. he began his peach by talking about the tragedy in south carolina. >> reporter: he did. he called for more efforts on cracking down at gun violence and greater gun control. the hilton hotel there in union square was jammed with hundreds of mayors and their staff. sacramento mayor hosted the event and started off with a moment of silence for the victims in charleston. after that he had help on stage, including from mc hammer and carlos santana but the star was president obama who received a hearty welcome. he said more than 11,000 americans lost their lives to gun violence in 2013 alone. >> congress passed common sense gun safety reforms after newton, after a group of children had been gunned down in their own classroom, reforms that 90% of the american people supported, we wouldn't have prevented every act of violence. we don't know if it would have prevented what happened in charleston, but we might still have some more americans with us. >> reporter: i talked with several mayors fro

ktvu's john sasaki is live now with the girl's condition.lated to an incident involving a paint ball gun. >> reporter: there was a paint ball gun at the scene. and a paint gun led to a shooting with a real gun. family arrived clearly heartbroken. the man wearing the tank top told us the little girl was her child. >> obviously something place here. we know there was an incident that took place here. >> reporter: police are saying little about what happened here. >> we have pieces. we believe she was in the car. but we're still trying to work that out. >> reporter: sources tell us the girl and his daughter were in the car when they shot at someone with a paint gun. >> we did receive information that there was some vehicles involved in paint ball shooting out paint ball guns so that's another thing we're looking at. that's another scenario that may fit into this. >> reporter: that paint ball shooting led to someone else opening fire with a real gun. we saw the man being taken into custody at the hospital but it's unclear what the charges will b
