[music playing] you're out of order. he's out of order. this whole trial is sexy. president clinton's historic impeachment trial begins thursday, and the most important issue facing the united states senate is how can it take a pointless, tawdry trial whose outcome has already been decided and make it last six hilarious, humiliating months? one way to do it would be an endless parade of meaningless witnesses. i don't see how we can deny the house the ability to call witnesses if they believe it's critical to their case. now, we can negotiate with them about the numbers. we can decide that we're not going to allow material to be presented at the trial that's offensive
