it's jonathan lemire. i want to get to you project forward a little bit. you can when vaccines will be available for children under 5. secondly, the kids who are in the 5 to 11 range who are now being vaccinated -- in fact my kids got their first shot on monday -- we know three weeks later or so they'll get their second. is there a sense that like adults those children in those groups will also need boosters down the road? >> yeah, these are terrific questions. i'll take the first one first. children under 5 we, of course, this will go through the same steps authorization for all of our other age groups have, and we have to make sure we take it step-by-step. but what we're hearing and as we understand it data should be available for kids under 5 early next year, so early 2022, at which point things will go through the same process. our experts at the fda will look at that data, moving it forward for authorization and then recommendation by the cdc. if all goes well which everything has gone well so far, we could be seeing a vaccine for our younger kids ear

i'm jonathan lemire on this monday, november 15th. we've got a lot of news.'s get started. >>> a law enforcement official tells nbc news former trump adviser steve bannon is expected to surrender today and appear in court this afternoon. a federal grand jury indicted bannon on friday, charging him with two counts of contempt of congress, one, failing to appear for a deposition and the other is for failure to produce documents. nbc news reports this indictment is a first. no one who has ever exerted executive privilege has ever been prosecuted for contempt before. if convicted, he could face up to a year behind bars and a fine of up to $5,000, but a conviction cannot force him to testify. liz cheney described the indictment as a warner to other trump officials who are attempting to stonewall the committee, adding, quote, no one is above the law. former president trump responded to the indictment this way. the statement, this country has perhaps never done to anyone what they've done to steve bannon. bannon's case is assigned to a judge by former president trum

i'm jonathan lemire.threatening action against former trump justice official jeffrey clark for his refusal to answer questions about the capitol attack during a scheduled deposition. on friday, clark who played a key role gave the committee a 12-page letter from his attorney and included a letter from trump's attorneys on executive privilege. clark's letter explains he wants to wait. chairman thompson called clark's, quote, complete failure to cooperate unacceptable and in direct contrast with his supervisors at the doj. he concluded his statements saying this, i have concluded clark's claim of privilege and rejected it. he has a very short time to reconsider and cooperate fully. we need the information that he is withholding and we are willing to take a strong measure. a person with direct knowledge of the deliberations tells "the new york times." willis opened her inquiry in february and her office has been consulting with the house committee whose evidence could be of considerable value to her own prob
