this one happened in downtown san jose. then police believe the suspect intentionally ran over three pedestrians just up the street on santa clara and 16th. two of those people did die at the scene. those were the first deaths in this crime spree. then shortly after the suspect is also believed to have hit a person on a motorized scooter. this is about two miles away here on alum rock avenue. by 4:30, police say parkourana made his way to milpitas, where he did stab another man in a smart and final parking lot on jacklin road. that man died at a hospital. in total, that's two killed in a hit and run and a third killed in the milpitas stabbing. >> we're learning more about the victims and obtained exclusive video from one of the many crime scenes. let's bring in our investigative reporter candice nguyen who joins us with the latest. >> reporter: the victims were husband and wife living in san jose. fook and nguyen pham in their 70s. they have a son and were well liked by their neighbors. 4:00 yesterday afternoon, the couple

san jose should get to the low 70s for daytime highs. when we get up to the 75 up there, we are already starting to get above average. numbers are going to climb farther than that over the next days. to see how that will happen, let's look at the next four from san jose making it from 73 today to 79 saturday, 81 sunday. you really top out in the mid 70s today give or take a few degrees. you are well into low 80s once we get to sunday. it will be the warmest part of the weekend. we are starting to see the disappearance of today's marine layer. high resolution satellite ows a little patch off the coast. this is building the marine layer for that one localized area and trying to squeeze through the golden gate. it is pretty gray on the west side of the city. it is not cloudy anywhere else. that's a localized feature. with more blue sky than anything, daytime highs today, mid 70s for san jose, 80 antioch, 75 in concord. in the seven-day forecast, we don't notice the trend so much for san francisco and oakland. we seldom do really except for

san jose mayor matt mahan and a group of former san jose mayors say they're taking steps to bring pro baseball to the south bay. they sent this letter to mlb's commissioner asking that territory rights be terminated for the san francisco giants. the giants were granted these rights with the support of the a's ownership when the giants intention was to move to the south bay. and i think the a's at the time thought it made a lot of sense. they would have the north bay, the giants would have the south bay that did not come to fruition. but the restriction remained in place. the giants were granted territory rights in the early 1990s and is the only pro sports team with those rights in the country. if the rights are terminated by mlb, it would set the stage to bring an expansion team to san jose. it's not what's right. it's not fair. it's not good for fans of the league. so we're just using this opportunity of the a's likely departing. unfortunately to revisit this question in the seventh inning. but some oakland a's fans say they don't support san jose, bringing in a pro baseball team an

san jose mayor matt mahan and a group of former san jose mayors say they're taking steps to bring prolb commissioner asking that territory rights be terminated for the san francisco giants. the giants were granted these rights with the support of the a's ownership when the giants intention was to move to the south bay. and i think the a's at the time thought it made a lot of sense. they would have the north bay, the giants would have the south bay that did not come to fruition. but the restriction remained in place. the giants were granted territory rights in the early 1990s and is the only pro sports team with those rights in the country. if the rights are terminated by mlb, it would set the stage to bring an expansion team to san jose. it's not what's right, it's not fair. it's not good for fans of the league. so we're just using this opportunity of the a's likely departing, unfortunately, to revisit this question in the seventh inning. but some oakland a's fans say they don't support san jose, bringing in a pro baseball team and thinks everyone should be supporting the a's staying
