it's now back tropical storm josephine alright expected to actually intensify the next to 24 hours or so get up to about 60 miles per hour winds and then decrease again back down to a tropical depression, tropical low. as it makes a curve away from the u.s. mainland may even bypass it so it's looking good on that front back home here with that leftover tropical moisture from our perspective up north here. then we'll see maybe a little shower, perhaps some cloud cover that's why it's in the forecast today overnight now in the friday here it is and to greet us tomorrow morning. this may keep our temperatures supported overnight not because this is tropical air above us necessarily but it acts as little bit of a buffer here to reduce the radiational cooling the we get overnight so it may keep our temperatures up a little bit and then friday as it clears out in time for the sun to join us away go the temperatures for highs today while the new models are kind of backing off a little bit in central valley, upper 90's we can see there's 97 for sacramento, 99 up there to reading. meanwhile ce
