connor lamb and josh shapiro. maybe you would have said it's going to be the strong democratic ticket. what is your take why fetterman seemed to connect and lamb didn't? >> one thing he's done and it helps he's a statewide elected official. he's run statewide before. one thing that helped him he adds a public official and as a candidate has gone to every county and talks about counting every vote in every county and going to every place. i think it helps. often what democrats do in primaries, as you know, you go to urban areas. that's where most of the primary vote is. he's gone everywhere. i think that broad based foundation he starts with will be enormously beneficial. to win our state, you have to do three things well. you have to maximize your vote in urban communities. you've got to perform very well in suburban philadelphia and other parts of the state that are suburban, but you have to reduce margins in rural areas. and sometimes some of that work has to be done in the winter and spring before the fall elec

edge, speaking out about the liability he poses and he has likely lost to democratic opponent josh shapiro in november. is mastriano's loss a fait accompli do you think? and if so, why did trump endorse this guy and how did those actions impact trump's credibility going forward? >> well, first, i don't think in this environment with 65% of americans saying they're losing ground economically because of inflation, and 75% saying the country is on the wrong track, you can't say that any republican candidate is, you know, inherently doomed. but having said that, if there is anyone with kind of one step over that abyss, it is doug mastriano, who is not only an election denier, not only someone who has trafficked with the qanon conspiracists and christian nationalists, he is someone who wants to ban abortions without exceptions for rape and incest at six weeks. pennsylvania is not alabama, you know. it's not mississippi. that is a very hard proposition to sell at a moment when the supreme court is going to make it less theoretical and more practical, potentially giving the states back the author

state attorney general josh shapiro will take him on. steve, let's start with that republican senate primary. you're talking handfuls of votes here. >> yeah. the picture is starting to come into focus. you see dr. oz leading mccormick, the margin .02%. it appears that the biggest single source of outstanding votes, of folks who went voted at the polled yesterday is allegheny county. it's the pittsburgh area and it is david mccormick's home county. you see mccormick is leading overall. that's the overall vote in allegheny county. if you look at the election day vote in allegheny, because we have about 7,000 election day votes in allegheny county that have not been counted. mccormick is winning those by about six points over oz. there's a pool there of between 6,000 and 7,000 votes of election day votes in allegheny county. that would be an opportunity for mccormick to knock into that oz lead statewide of 2500. where else are we looking at outstanding votes in pennsylvania? you can look at delaware county right outside of philadelphia. the
