this storm is pounding puerto rico right now with very heavy rain. particularly in the san juan area. tropical storm watches posted for san juan and the dominican republic here. the last big one on the map is the first hurricane of the atlantic season. hurricane bill. a powerful hurricane. it is forecast to grow in intensity. however, the latest track has the storm working its way toward the u.s. but then curving away. this is days away for this to happen. the models are on different paths for what will happen with bill. we're tracking it right now to come around this region here in the central atlantic and then curve away. it's something that has to be watched so closely because it could change at any time. these storms really can move depending on what's happening with the upper level or steering winds with the storms and that could change the path dramatically. also, we have wind shear that can break down the storms or steer them in another direction. a lot is happening with all three storms on the map. it's an active and busy time in the tropics and just the beginning becaus
