. >> today on getting answe julian glover had a roundtable discussion about tyree nichols death at the hands of memphis police. the guests discussed the response to what happened and how to move forward. >> we have seen what we could call a relatively swift action taken by the police chief in memphis and the da by firing some but not all officers involved in filing murder charges against five involved in the beating death of tyree nichols. is that the appropriate response to this awful instance of police brutality? would love to be able to start with you as a former law enforcement officer. >> i think it is absolutely the right response. what the community is looking for is swift and definitive action. it does not take a deliberation from a jury to realize what the officers did was wrong so the fact that chief davis took definitive action quickly was the right thing to do. in memphis or in tennessee you can do that. had she been c department or a stronger unit it would have been a harder thing to do. >> your thoughts? >> i agree it is obviously the right response. what i am reminded of
