this is the day for 4th of july parades. it in half moon bay. it's all about old-fashioned tradition. great turnout. it's really awesome. starting at noon and rolling down the town's main street for an hour and a half. the parade is always a crowd favorite. that's why michelle kelsey has walked the route 8 times with canine companions for independence. and these dogs are for people in wheelchairs. people are hearing impaired veterans as well as facility dogs watching from the sidelines. you quickly notice the amount of animals in the parade and how well represented agriculture is farm so you see the tractors. you see the horses. we've got great equestrians here, a farming community that was rocked when a mass shooting in january killed 7 people at 2 different farms in half moon bay. this is the first big event here since the gunfire and an important gathering for residents like linda, fresh who's been coming to the parade off and on for 20 years. this year is a pretty special year mean we all really need to care >> you so the community comes tog

now we're talking about 4th of july.affect us? because obviously it is back and today should be very similar to tomorrow. so let's do broadcast for today. just kind of show you have this marine layer moves in a minute. take you to the time of day will be similar to what tomorrow will our fireworks. i'm right at 9.30, and you can see some of that kind of moving into the bay. a little bit of drizzle along the coast. a kind of fills in as we get into the overnight hours. we wake up with that very present marine layer on tuesday morning. and then we kind of repeat the forecast. we're pulls away as we get into the afternoon and that starts to fill back in. so that does mean it is going to be a bit of an issue for us. as we look at our july 4th, fireworks here we are looking at about 56 degrees at 9.30, tomorrow night. we do have those fireworks starting partly cloudy skies and the marine layer will be with us to the question as always. if it sets up like a little to lower a little too high, sometimes it makes it a little bit

happy fourth of july to you. we are a few hours away from the highlight of every fourth of july which is of course the fireworks, but the question is, will the weather cooperate? >> and the answer is yes. if you are inland , but if you are coming to the show at fisherman's wharf, just look at the time lapse, that is from the top of the hotel, look at the cloud deck. with the sunshine, keeping it from going full strength, that is what it looks like on the golden gate bridge. and of course that tower , you can still see the whole thing. that is a good sign. because the tower on the golden gate bridge is about 750 feet tall. that means that they are not getting into the clouds, which means that the fireworks, if they don't go superhigh, you will be able to see them. but the cloud deck is likely going to be lowering over the next few hours. here's the take away, for the city is probably going to be another cloudy show. if you are inland, you will have a clear view of the fireworks , and temperatures will be in the up
