frank somerville, julie haener, week nights on ktvu, channel 2 news at 6.rr li irore . >> well, the cool refrigerated air continues to impact the bay area. the overall weather story for the passed few days. we will start out with low clouds and fog. right now on the maps i can show you this on live stormtracker 22. no storms out. there the storms would actually warm us up over the next few days. and that will happen. the fog in the central valley is pushing close to the bay area with that weak offshore area. that is into oakland and san francisco. still a big part of our forecast for tonight. tonight for the bay area forecast fog and chilly. as we do head into sunday skies becoming partly sunny during the afternoon hours. the extended forecast and rain will be returning. multiple rain chances in the five day forecast. for tomorrow morning, forecasted lows on the cool side once again. we are talking about low 30s for santa rosa, napa. san francisco is at 42. livermore right around 31 degrees. satellite i am watching this activity in the pacific. and this wil

. >>> good evening i'm julie haener. >> and i'm ken wayne. frank somerville is off tonight. you have talked about the sheriff talk about what's been developing at the delta canal. the vehicle involved in the cardenas abduction has been located but no bodies were found in that vehicle. ken pritchett joins us now live. >> reporter: you can see a live picture we have of the car up shore. the suspect's vehicle that was pulled out about 15 minutes ago. we just heard from sheriff adam christianson, once that car, that 2003 toyota carolla was brought up on shore, they looked inside the car and they did not see juliani cardena the 4-year-old or 28 esteban cardenas inside the car. two of the windows on that car were rolled down. now the question is, were those windows broken out or were they rolled down and that's something that the sheriff said they have to take a look at at this point. it also raises the question, was rodriguez or juliani in the car when it went into the water. the sheriff emphasized once again that his confidence in the witness stating that they say that car go in

good evening everyone i'm heather holmes in tonight for julie haener. >> and i'm frank somerville. the search for the boy is now in its fourth be night. but sheriff's investigators tell us they still opal have one real lead. live in patterson the search remains focused on a murky canal. lloyd in. >> reporter: there is still hope in this search for a missing child. but the search is moving into its fourth day with the search no closer to finding the boy. there was a sense of dread at the canal tonight. searchers using a sonar device had detected an object in the murky waters a half mile south from where a witness reported seeing someone drive a silver car similar to the kidnapper's, into the canal. as a tow truck pulled the object out of the water, a patterson city councilwoman grabbed my arm, fearing the worst. as a car started emerging. it turned out to be a honda accord, stolen from patterson last year. it was the fourth car pulled out of the canal this week. >> it is encouraging that we have not found the car. you know, that leaves a hope and the possibility that our suspect cou
