juliette goodrich has the exclusive video of what they are saying tonight. >> reporter: liz, these passengers on allegiance flight were so fed up with their travel nightmare they contacted kpix 5 while actually stuck on the airplane. their ordeal starting at 9:30 this morning. they had been on three planes because of mechanical problems. at 9:30 flight 10:32 was suppose to go to utah, but instead they had to get off plane because of the reported steering cable problem. 3:30 this afternoon they were suppose to board a second plane in from las vegas. that plane overheated reportedly. three more hours later in the airport they finally boarded a third plane, sat on the runway for an hour only to return to the gate because of the reported fuel problem. you might have imagined that they were frustrated, sending us a video statement inside that plane. >> and i could have been imprisoned by allegiance airline for nine hours. i'm outraged. they should go out of business immediately. >> it's a number of them calling again at least. it is important for them this morning and to set up with the kind of wo

juliette goodrich has new information about the woman who created so much havoc. >> we now know who led secret service officers on a high speed pursuit. a mom with her daughter in the car. more than a dozen gun shots rang out across capitol hill. police trying to stop an out-of- control driver that struck a barricade outside the white house. that driver, 34-year-old, miriam carey, a dental hygienist, her 18 month daughter was in the car during the pursuit. this government worker heard it all. >> i heard the initial, what sounded like a string of fire crackers going off. >> chase started more than a mile away. police say carey hit a barricade at the northeast corner of the white house just after 2:00 p.m. she sped off toward the capitol weaving in and out of traffic with the secret service on her tail. police almost had her cornered against sidewalk barricades near the capitol building, but she backed up into a squad car and sped away. that's when the shots rang out. because of the chase and shooting, the entire capitol building was on lockdown. tourists were told to go inside. the chase
