"eyewitness news" reporter justin finch joins us live from the scene where an investigation continues this morning. good morning, justin. >> reporter: jim, brooke, good morning. two killers were on the loose this morning after police say they shot and killed a man in cold blood just feet away from his front door. lets take you now to video from overnight, police are saying that the shots rang out at 2:00 o'clock this morning on the 4200 block of viola street. victim is a 22-year old man was left lying on the streets suffering from at least two gunshots to his head. sixteenth district officers heard those shots and they arrived to find the victim a women friend now a witness told up investigators that the victim parked his black car on the sidewalk and went inside his own house for a few minutes when he came back out she was outside and watching, in panic as he was chased by two ski mask wearing men in white t-shirts to ran over from a next door lot, firing as many as five to six shots at the victim. he collapsed on to the street a few steps away and then police say was shooter stood o

eyewitness news reporter justin finch is live in the cbs news center with the latest on the investigation. good morning, justin what have you learned. >> brook, philadelphia police are working to uncover why a man was gunned down near a busy penn's landing area late last night. that man is dead. three suspects are caught and police are actively serving for more clues. 11:45 last night police say officers heard gunshot columbus avenue and calohill boulevard and officials tell us police all saw a 24-year-old man being shot and several running from the area including three male suspects. officers caught them and got the victim to hahnemann hospital he died there a short time later with gun shots to head, neck and back. on scene nine shell casings were found near ford suv and victim was getting into suv backdoor before being shot. chief inspector scott small says the suspects may have tossed gun into the delaware river and marine units are serving for the seem eye automatic weapon and look for surveillance video to fill in the gaps. >> fortunately intersection of columbus and calohill there a

eyewitness news reporter justin finch will have a live report in the next hour. >> this morning, delaware state police are investigating an officer-involved shooting in dover. it happened around 8:20 last night at apartment complex 51 webs lane. state police say troopers were called for a man with a gun. they say what they arrived the man ran off and began firing and trooper returned fire. troopers were able to arrest the man after a long foot chase and none were hit. the man has not been charged yet. >>> this morning several people are in the hospital after this crash involving a septa bus and a tractor-trailer. it happened yesterday evening at the intersection of lansdowne avenue and providence flowed delaware county. and investigators say a jeep pulled out in front of the bus and crashed into it. and then the bus crashed into the tractor-trailer. 26 people who were on the bus. plus two people walking, were hurt. they were all taken to area hospitals. and there's another big bus crash to tell you about. it happened overnight. >> four people are dead after a wreck involving a dallas cowb

. >> "eyewitness news" reporter justin finch is live at police headquarters with more on the investigation, justin? >> reporter: brooke and jim, good morning. an arrest could come soon in the rest of tyhir barnes. he was gun down monday in what police are calling an ambush. lets go to video from tuesday evening, this is a balloon release that closed off one of two vigils held for tyhir barnes many carrying messages for loss of the aspiring rapper and rising sophomore from the southwest philadelphia area. just before 10:00 p.m. monday police say barnes and his friends were ambush as they were leaving the basketball game, around 60th and baltimore avenue. detectives then report that ten shots were fired. their motive apparent lit was retaliation. they say barnes neighborhood basketball team had a buzzer beater win over a rival team within the last week. that started an earlier fight involving barnes his teammates and that rival team. then monday night that gunfire, that left barnes shot in the face and two other teens injured all were taken to penn presbyterian where he died a short time lat
