and last year justice kagan spoke to the graduating class. and so a number of the faculty were thinking what would be a good new tradition would be to have a leading member of the bench and bar come in at the start of the year to talk to our first year students about their career and to offered a vice about legal careers as people start their legal studies. so i can tell you how delighted i am that justice stevens is joining us here today. so a round of applause for justice stevens.
