((michael stevens)) we just got the arrest report on 25-year-old kaleo gedge. he was picked-up by police on september 5th for trying to smuggle drugs into high desert state prison. gedge was a corrections officer at the prison since 20-14. according to the arrest report he's charged with several felonies including... furnishing a controlled substance to a prisoner... and trafficking in a controlled substance. criminal investigators claim they started an investigation into the corrections officer. up 28 grams of methampheta mines outside santa fe station. a survallance team... watched the transation take place. gedge's car was stopped by police. in a statement to invetigators gedge said he knew what he had picked up were drugs and it was his intent to bring them to high desert state prison. the corrections officer was taken to clark county detention center where he's been booked.
