kari. good morning. we've been talking a lot about the windy conditions that will be picking up as we go through the next couple of days, and for some of our hills, our mountains, those gusts may top 50mph. so some of those stronger wind gusts coming in tomorrow night through wednesday. but we're going to see day after day of these high winds that could create some issues for power. as well as trees. and we may have an elevated fire danger as well. so as we're getting started this morning in walnut creek, at least for now, the wind is still calm. it's 46 degrees. and as we go throughout the day, we're going to see those temperatures in the mid 60s at 10:00 and into the low 70s at noon, eventually making it into the mid seconds for today. notice these temperatures are pretty nice across the bay area, with some low to mid 70s and a few upper 70s in parts of the north bay. we'll be tracking those changes. we'll talk more about the wind and the impacts to the power that may be coming up in just a few minutes

kari, how's it looking? yeah, we've been talking about the best times to travel and get out on the roads, and i think now's a good time. looking at the conditions out there and we don't have any more rain lingering. but it's cold as our temperatures have dipped in some spots into the 30s. that's what we're seeing in the north bay. but elsewhere it is in the 40s and low 50s. chilly start, and it's going to be a very cool day. at least it will be sunny and that helps it feel a little bit better. but as we go through the afternoon in san francisco, we're staying in the 50s for this afternoon and upper 50s and low 60s elsewhere. one of the warmer spots will be the south county, with morgan hill, gilroy and in san martin, temperatures in the low 60s. tomorrow it's not much different. after a very cool morning. we're staying in the 50s and low 60s as well, and then into friday. there is still that cool weather that will be settling in and slight warming for some of the inland valleys that we'll be watching heading
