katelyn polantz has more on this. >> david weiss out of the justice department who has been investigating hunter biden for many years now is using this grand jury now, indicating more charges to come, and indictment perhaps out of the grand jury of california against the president's son hunter biden. what we know about the grand jury investigation is that we don't have a full idea of the scope of it. we do know that it is likely very much about the business dealings of hunter biden, and perhaps the fact that he did not pay some of the taxes in 2017 and 2018, and something that he tried to have a plea deal at the misdemeanor level that fell apart on the charges in delaware and now the special counsel is looking to the charges in california and something that weiss signaled he would do before, but the other thing is that this is subpoenas for documents and testimony including a subpoena to the brother of the president james biden who is somebody who has insight into hunter biden's income, and some other financial interests, and that is one of the reasons that james biden may be brought into

cnn senior crime and just reporter katelyn polantz is with us in studio.is the latest, what should we expect? >> reporter: we should expect this to go to trial in may as of now. judge cannon did have an order today in the court saying, yep, that trial date will stay for may, but she's going to give the trump team more breathing room to do the work they need to do to prepare for trial. she's acknowledging they're very busy, they've got a lot of cases on their hands. there's -- this is a complex case, there's a lot of evidence, there's closs fide material in it -- classified material in it. they're going to revisit the trial date in march at a hearing. that's when we are likely to see the trump team come back into court and push again to get this moved until after the election. because as much as it's about documents that donald trump was han handling, there also is a high likelihood that a very large amount of people around donald trump will give quite a portrait of what it was like inside mar-a-lago after the trump presidency, including we're learning abou

>> reporter: katelyn, we've seen more trucks come in today. we do not know the exact numbers.t will be until later in the day until we can get confirmation from the palestinian red crescent or from the u.n. about how many trucks were allowed to come in today, but this is crucial because of what you are talking about. this truce is not extended this may be the largest contingent of aid coming into gaza for a while because during this four-day period they had at least 200 trucks, that's the ceiling for how many trucks could come into gaza with food and fuel and water and cooking gas that's been in short supply throughout the strip. this is the final day to try to get in as much as possible, it's a painstaking process where they have to go through an egyptian checkpoint, an israeli checkpoint and unload and try to reload them back on to trucks that will distribute across the strip. northern gaza some of the greatest need it, but during this pause in fighting people have been able to queue up for food and cooking gas and try to get a sense of normalcy and a lot of them just want t
