at 10:15, kathleen sebelius interviewed on the "huffington post."'re likely to hear claims of success, that the enrollment period has almost seven million sign-ups. that is the pr blitz that will come today from the administration. the other side of the coin all those unanswered questions about the enrollees. how many of them have paid? very few of them had previously uninsured and are now insured. very few are in that category? most sign-ups are getting free or subsidized coverage. not enough young people are signing up. the premiums are going up and deductibles are going up. so on one hand you have a pr blitz claiming success. on the other hand, if you look at the numbers seriously there is all kind of unanswered questions. it is a real contest between the two side today. bill: i have not seen the president with any public events concerning this today. which is, interesting. on the four-year anniversary there was not a public event on that day either. you're point, who is paid, who is not, who is young and who is not and who was uninsured before?

let's get right into this question of the drift, kathleen.the oceanic drift and the weather factor into this search? >> it all depends on where you are in the ocean. looking at where the satellite images are suggesting the debris might be is quite close to an area that's -- that's part of this large circum polar current in the ocean. the currents there can get fairly strong relatively speaking and could push any debris up to around 50 miles a day. but it's really hard to define that because the current -- the currents are turbulent. there's eddies that interact. it could go north or south. east or west. it really -- it really depends on what path it takes and what eddy it gets into. if it gets pushed into another eddy it would go in a completely different direction. so it could be several hundred miles of a search area. and on top of that, you have these winds. so we've been talking about how it's all stormy there. and there's these westerly winds there, are quite strong. right now i was just looking at the data from today. the winds are arou

kathleen, we have a break in the case. a little daylight, it seems like, but does this actually put us any closer to where we might be -- need to be to actually find the plane? >> i think it's a great break in the case. because if you know more information, any information -- because right now, we've been going on hypotheses and trying to guess where things went. but if you can know where to start from, at least roughly and where a piece of debris is now or has been spotted, then you can get a better handle on what parameters are at play. with respect to the wind versus currents. if it's just currents carrying it along, that gives us more information if it's wind pushing on the surface and blowing it in different directions in addition to currents. and if it's just currents, what i would assume but with no information i can't say for sure, then it'll be a lot slower transport. and so really does narrow down the field quite a bit. but with the two and the beginning point and the end point today, we have a lot more to go wit
