we are looking at some showers and even some snow in parts of our area kathy orr is with the cbs-3 mobile weather lab in south philadelphia, kathy? >> reporter: i'll tell you this wind is unbelievable, ukee, we're talking about sustained winds in philadelphia at like 28 miles an hour. we are gusting over 35 miles an hour and we're seeing some snow flakes especially to the north and west of the city. take a look at storm scan three where on the wide view especially through lehigh valley and poconos we are seeing just some snow and it is accumulating there. as we zoom in you can see through poconos, some steady snow and that is where we are going to still have that winter weather advisory, winter weather advisory in effect until will 4:00 from one to 3 inches of snow in that area let's talk a little bit about the winds because these numbers are pretty significant, in philadelphia, we have that wind on the northwest at 28 miles an hour, and wildwood, 22 miles an hour wind and even in lancaster and wilmington these are sustained wind of 21 miles an hour. the here's how it feels like philadelp

more snow moving through the area right now and kathy orr is here with more. thy. >> we hope this is the last band of snow. it appears to be. we have a large circumstance lakes -- circulation around our nor'easter that's moving through maine. this patch of snow shifting toward the north and east filling in on our radar. one burst of snowly in montgomery county and you can see it from reading berks county into northern montgomery moving to the south at 20 miles an hour dumping light accumulation where you see that dark purple between pats town and upper salford. this is stretching down towards norristown, 202, glenside and into places like mount airy. if you live in this area, montgomery county even northern parts of chester please take it easy. area roads untreated will be snow covered and slick. right now temperatures below freezing so it is sticking to the ground where we have those untreated surfaces on the streets as well. in the poconos the feel-like reading is at 15. for the rest of the night and overnight areas of light snow reduced visibility at times w

we go right to meteorologist kathy orr. she's tracking its conditions out there right now. thy. >> these snow squalls mean business, reducing visibility and moving quickly across the delaware valley, they are thin lines of bursts of snow and you can see them, they're rotating around our area of low pressure, our nor'easter that's along the area but i want to draw your attention to this squall that moved down from the lehigh valley into parts of upper bucks creating some icy conditions and some accidents. right now it's been between bucks and montgomery county right along you can see right here 611 through doylestown, warrington, warminster as well. toward upper moreland it may make it into abington. these are very narrow bands of snow and you can see the visibilities right now. it looks like there's no issue but look to the north quakertown last half hour 1.5 visibility, now its up to 9-mile visibility so you can see how the visibility can change very quickly. our iwitness cam from montgomery county jessica from pennsburg shows the snow on her outdoor decorations and a littl

meteorologist kathy orr is tracking the latest round of winter weather. what can we expect tonight, kathy. >> a few more snow showers. this should be the last round of that nor'easter impacting our region. take look at this. even snow on the boardwalk in ocean city. you don't really see that often when you have some snow squalls mainly to the north and west this one made it all the way down the shore, and right now we are seeing the squall lifting north of ocean city. it is in atlantic city on storm scan3 you can see the wide circulation around our nor'easter. right now in northern maine. but the moisture still making it down into the delaware valley traveling hundreds of miles with some scattered snow squalls earlier to the north and west of philadelphia right now though in south jersey and salem and cumberland counties and also in atlantic county this dark purple area really intense band near galloway, estelle manor, egg harbor right along the atlantic city expressway into atlantic city and this expected to lift toward the north and really dissipate late

meteorologist kathy orr is live on the sky deck, checking all of the changes, kathy. >> it is turning blustery on the sky deck, those wind persist we are gusting to 30 miles an hour and cold air is moving in, as we speak. temperatures today though were quite mild, we made it up to 53 degrees in philadelphia, that is very mild for this time of the year and the average high on this date is only 44 degrees. so, we're seeing the changes and that means it is last mild day for a while. upper level low over the great lakes, keeping it cloudy over us, and those clouds will give way to clearing overnight and temperatures will fall further. forty-seven in philadelphia. atlantic city. thirty-four in the poconos. forty-two in reading. temperatures continue to plunge. we have stiff wind out of the north west between 15 and 20 miles an hour for most of the evening, and then that will continue in the overnight. we will watch temperatures fall through the 40's into the 30's by 11:00 o'clock, expect less wind buzz clearing skies. coming up we will talk more about the cold that is coming, we're looking
