katie marzullo is there live.this is day number five >> reporter: day number five, and status quo for this protest. if you take a look behind us, you will see the signage covering the fence around the school and the parents are sleeping in tents just beyond that signage. other signs read, 4 p.m. rally today this group, based on signs and what they've told me are moving ahead. here's what it looked like yesterday. a lot of parents gathered here, protesting the fact that the district is closing this and four other schools turning one into a charter school. they accused the district superintendent tony smith of mismanaging the money. one of signs out here reads, tony smith reopen or resign. the district says there are not enough students to fill these schools and closures will save two million dollars a year more than two million dollars a year. the district has asked parents to leave. they say this camp out will have to end that is not what the parents are saying. >> we are pointed how the district is handling all o
