katy zachry is live on the scene this morning.chief about some of the issues fighting this fire overnight. tell us more about that. >> reporter: yeah we said it was pretty challenging considering the stone structure of this building. we'll get to more on that in just a minute. but since the fire is out, it's under control. we are able to move closer to this historic inn that went up in flames around 2:00 this morning. and i am told they are working on just getting rid of some hot spots on the back of the building and up on the roof. you can see some of the guys up on the ladder. but we'll go to pictures we have still pictures that were taken during the height of the fire sent in to nbc 10 by a firefighter who was one of the first on the scene. you can see how aggressive the flames were. firefighters fought it hard. they trucked in water from outside hydrants it was so aggressive and are still working on hot spots. one firefighter received some minor injuries. i'm told he's going to be okay. the mayor was here soon after the fire b

nbc 10's katy zachry is live outside city hall for us this morning where the attorney general kane will appear this morning. hi katy. >> reporter: hi, vai. later this morning in a few hours attorney general kathleen kane will be inside city hall arguing that a judge did not have the authority to appoint a special prosecutor whose grand jury went on to recommend that she be charged with some pretty serious crimes. now that special prosecutor thomas carluccio looked into possible leaks from kane's office. a 12-person jury recommended kane be charged with perjury, obstruction and other offenses. kane's lawyer says there's no legal basis or constitutional grounds for a judge to appoint carluccio with full powers to investigate and prosecute. as her attorney he says she's innocent of illegally disclosing grand jury information, told the truth at all times and the special prosecutor shows bias by ignoring the leaks from his grand jury process presidential to the attorney general. he goes on to describe the attorney general kathleen kane as cautiously hopeful about the case unfolding here the

katy zachry is watching the conditions. katy? >> less traffic is not a bad thing as it will take people a lot of extra time to get to school or work this morning if you're one of the unfortunate ones who have not been canceled or delayed this morning. just to give you an idea of how bad the roads are now that the sun is coming up this is in northeast philadelphia right along lyndon avenue where it is snow covered there. a live look now at route 70 in cherry hill where right now it is snow covered. this is a stretch of roadway very well traveled in the early morning hours. then finally moving into delaware, this is route 1 at route 10 near the dover air force base. it's practically snow covered. we know delaware got hit hard. crews worked hard yesterday to plow a lot of the snow and did. there's just a thick, icy snow pack to remain on a lot of the local and neighborhood roads this morning. fortunately, the majors look good. taking a look at the drive times on 95 near the woodhaven and the vine, 15 minutes in both directions. trac

katy zachry is live in center city. what do we expect to learn later today? >> reporter: later today we expect attorney seth williams to announce the names of several more lawmakers who will be charged with accepting bribs. now here's a look at the group of lawmakers initially targeted in the undercover sting operation. some of them have already been charged. now williams says they accepted thousands of dollars in bribes from an informant who posed as a lobbyist. the operation was run by the state attorney general's office. but when current attorney general kathleen cane inherited the case she questioned the integrity of the informant saying it was rationally targeted. that's when seth williams took the case to a grand jury. at 6:00 i'm including a story that includes what representatives and what former traffic court judge has already been charged in this case. plus, you'll hear excerpts from the conversations between those who have been charged and the undercover informant. katy zachry, "nbc 10 news." >>> following solidarity in north philadelphia last nigh
