this fire is actually burning a few miles to the west of where i am over by kent lake. the good news is that its only burned about 38 acres, it is moving slowly at this point and is roughly 78 percent contained as of tuesday evening and is not threatening any structures. let's go ahead and take a look at some video and still images taken by the marin county fire department on tuesday. this fire started about 10:26 in the morning over by kent lake. it was spotted by a park ranger. it's burning in a very remote location mainly through grass and brush. a few trees. cal fire responded with a helicopter and fixed wing aircraft making water and flame retardant drops around the burn zone. about 80 fire fighters are here from multiple agencies trying to get a handle on this fire. it was breezy here in marin on tuesday but the humidity was high. if it had been a hot dry day this fire may have moved faster but that is helping fire fighters keeping this fire from burning out of control. fire crews are going to remain here through out tuesday evening and they are hoping for full co
