it is also moving into kent and sussex counties. taking a closer look at the snow forecast, the highest amounts are going to be situated in the counties. between five to nine inches expected. four to seven closer to salem county. as we take a closer look for philadelphia, camden gloucester, new castle bucks, montgomery chester, those locations, those counties will see anywhere between two to four inches. we have already seen around two inches come down in some of our suburbs. if you look closer to the lehigh valley we are going to see one to three inches with the storm system that we're tracking situated mainly to the south of the region. so that's why some of the southernmost locations will see more snowfall than others. two inches or less if you live closer to the poxcanos. the bull's-eye of the storm is the central and southern parts of delaware and along the shore. jillian mele is watching for any problems the storm is causing. good morning. >>> good morning to you brittney. we still have an accident on the boulevard southbound

delaware and perhaps right around cape may and up to wildwood. 2 to 4 inches in central delaware kent county also much of atlantic county. and then about an inch as we head towards the philadelphia area. and we'll look at that map here. perhaps a coating, up to an inch in and around philly. as we go further to the north and west less and less of a chance of any kind of measurable snow, though there could be some flakes falling in even some of the northern or western suburbs. and a little bit of a change in the track of that storm could make a big difference in those snow totals. we'll keep watching it. today, mostly sunny skies, high clouds temperatures in the mid to upper 30s. the average high is 47. so we're still below that. one of the warmest days we have seen this month. tomorrow, the snow mainly south and east. and mainly in the morning. and there is some accumulation there, the visibility is knocked down during the rush hour especially in delaware and extreme south jersey. it is going to be -- have an impact there. friday and saturday we're bitter cold, at least into saturday morning.

one pocket is moving out of southern new castle county, northern kent county into salem and cumberland new jersey and you can also see some pockets of some freezing rain moving through newark delaware, just into wilmington area but we do have more substantial freezing rain through berks county, reading chester county, near honeybrook. north of kutztown heavier and also notice northern lehigh valley some of that freezing rain is changing over to snow and there's some sleet pellets mixed in there so you really want to be careful. i've been getting a lot of photos on facebook and twitter. this was sent in by michael, from easton, pennsylvania and you'll notice that glaze on the mailbox there of ice. whenever you see a glaze of ice on mailbox your car that means the bridges the overpasses, the secondary roads, sidewalks can be icy as well so you want to be very careful much thanks to michael for sending that in. follow me on twitter because i'll keep you updated on the system as we head through overnight hours. this is really the concern tonight with the icing. again the untreated surfaces
