patterson, explain the decision as it is been reported to amid secondary readings from authors like kimberlÉ crenshawessee coats, and bell hooks, have been removed from the course. >> right, so, first of all, some of those readings weren't actually eliminated, they were moved from the framework to another resource called ap classroom. so part of what the course framework does is that it lays out the required units and the primary sources and the primary text. but it doesn't lay out the secondary text that are required. and so some of those readings will be in the ap classroom, another issue that is at stake in the college board has tried to clarify this with further information that it released, is that the issue of permissions. so, when some of the cases, there is a list of secondary sources for which the college board has received permissions, and it will be at a pea classroom, and there are also separate reading, some of whom you listed, has shown on the monitor, that the college board does not have those permissions for yet. and so that conversation is ongoing. as a resident example of this, and
