commissioner kingsley? commissioner kingsley: i attended the two events, and one was at a community center. and yes, the of the one, on noriega, which was more of a block cut off between 45th and 46, so they were two different ends of this very large geography of that station. both events had terrific food and music and a lot of events for the children, and children in particular in joining getting into the police cars and seeing how they work. i think what struck me most is that these events really were taking charge of the community, which was terrific, and were well attended. the police officers, and captains were there and a number of police officers, and i think our commission, to thank them for being there and having that presence. there were a number of other community services that were present and available, too, and then, also, thanks to the occ for its presence and staffing at several of the stations, as well, so i think san francisco did a terrific job on that event. >> it was. it was a great ev

commissioner kingsley? >> commissioner kingsley: we did go to the san francisco organizing project meeting. and wanted to add a few more comments on that in addition to -- who was one of the invited guests to speak. this was the organization's meeting. there was also invited guests, the captain of the station and the tenet of sullivan -- lt.o'sullivan was substituting for the captain on vacation. there were -- in terms of the san francisco police department in addition to the invited guests, there were -- there was a significant presence not only what of other command staff, members of the command staff there, but also a number of officers within the departments. there was a good representation and cross-section of the police department. commissioners to my command staff, officers there in support of this coalition of religious groups and school groups and it was kind of a hopeful turn in terms of some of the other organizations since the unfortunate incident that happened about a month ago. in terms of the

commissioner kingsley: what are the opportunities to collaborate outside of training and uniforms? >> was that your last one about self-defense? the collaboration is not just about the safety issue. we have done a lot of interactive sessions and we learned a lot from the average we did on the 2010 census. for instance i, in the 2000 census, it was not only the lowest in the city but one of the lowest in the nation. during the senses, we used jobs now personnel who made up the first team of ambassadors, and we deploy them in -- deployoed them in d10 and they blanketed the community and raised the participation rate by nine percentage points which is phenomenal. we learned a lot from them and we used that model now to conduct our community partnership. everything we do is through relationships with the community, the businesses, organizations and we do that in lockstep with sfpd. commissioner kingsley: with the police department collaborative effort, is there a monthly report, is there a stop by the district station, i am sure the chief knows what collaborative efforts have -- there
