kirkham street at at nine kirkham street at ninth and kirkham.somebody just put two concrete traffic calming things in that street right there at the corner and put it down into one lane and, and this plan is very, very it just shows kirkham street as a blue line. it doesn't show any slow street on any of that at all. but this previous, this other map that i was looking at, a current all ages and abilities facilities showed a block of slow streets between 14th and funston. so i want to know i want to make sure that that kirkham is still a car friendly street and that it's a bicycle friendly street. also, because it's got it's very wide street. there's plenty of room for bicycles, both sides. the main conflict is not speed in that street, but the traffic calming in the middle of the intersections that causes the cars to have to go toward the bikes at all those intersections. and then we have another conflict with the bikes and very new conflict the last week where a bunch of concrete traffic calming devices were put in on ninth avenue. and so we h

officers responded to the area of seventh and kirkham streets around 1030 thursday morning, and found one person with a gunshot wound. the victim was transported to the hospital and is listed in critical but stable condition. no word, ots being fired. and police ine oakland also investigating other shooting that took place on thanksgiving. the victim was robbed and then struck several times with a gun whil sitting in a vehicle on 92nd avenue, right neachry street. the suspect then fired his gun toward the vehicle while running away. the robbery victim was not shot. anyone with information about either shooting is asked to contact oakland police. well, new numbers tonight from the oakland police department show. oakland is on track to end the year with a drop in crime compared to last year. from january 1st to mid november of last year, there were 105 homicides in oakland, more than 3300 reports of robberies, more than 13,000 car break ins, 13,000 cars were stolen and nearly 1700 commercial break ins. now compare that to the same time period this year. and all of those crimes are down,
