we continue our storm force coverage with kris anderson in andover. good morning to you, kris. >> kris: hey, nancy. nicole just mentioned the slowdown potentially for people coming in. here's 93 southbound heading into the city. we're in andover now. you can see traffic is already starting to slow down a bit. because of the snow are not ideal. it's not coming down the n droves. we don't have several inches of snow piling up, but what we have coming down now is this sleety snow mixture, and it's causing a slushy mess out there on the roadways and it's causing for some problems out there. we saw a couple of box trucks spun out on 93 northbound when we were heading up to andover from downtown boston, and they were crashed on to the side of the road. and that's causing some slowdowns and delays on top of what we're experiencing because of the snow and sleet and ice that's forming on the ground, forming as marshall called it, "muck." the snow is giving us an introduction into what we'll be dealing with this winter. it's helping us ease back into the swing o

here's 7's kris anderson with details. >> kris: christa, the f.b.i. is now saying this couple had quite some time. officials say that tashfeen malik and syed farook methodically prepared for this attack, often practicing at shooting ranges. their most recent practice session was actually just days before last week's deadly shooting took place in san bernardino. in a chilling new twist also, officials have disclosed that facebook coworkers -- farook's cowork esat the county health department underwent active shooter training in the very same conference room where he and his wife opened fire, killing 14 people and injuring 1 others. farook himself attend that training session. officials also say 19 pipes were found in the couple's home, though not all of those pipes had been working pipe bombs. a .22-caliber rifle was also found, bringing the total number of firearms uncovered in this case to five. right now the f.b.i., as you can imagine, combing through all of the clue, trying to figure out whether this couple got help from islamic extremists, or if t

let's head over the kris anderson in the control room. >> kris: christa, this news just coming in from overnight. lance corporal joseph pemberton was convicted of homicide in the philippines. the new bedford native will serve up to 12 years in prison for killing a transgender woman. officials say her killed jennifer laud in a hotel room. pemberton med laud in october 2014 in the philippines. they went to a hotel where the court ruled that pemberton killed laud by strangling her and then dunking her head in the toilet after learning she was transgeneral der. pemberton admitted to choking laud but says he tried to revive her. the sentence is not enough but is glad pemberton will be spending time behind bars. >> christa: thank you, kris. new details in a weapons stolen from an armory in worcester. a dorchester woman is behind bars in connection with the crime. investigators say ashley bigsbee had pictures on her phone of a stolen handgun and assault rile. initially he told agents she knew nothing about the robbery. f.b.i. is offering a $15,000 reward for the six guns that are still missin
