that's where kristin wright is. kristin? >> reporter: we found out in the last few minutes of the 15 people taken to the two are in critical condition. of the two good samaritans who jumped on the parkway to help, police are following several leads in finding out who they are. u.s. park police are looking for witnesses who can help them find out why a shuttle bus and a car collided head on on the g.w. parkway in mt. vernon killing a person on the bus. the bus overturned and paeshlgs visiting from china became trapped. medics rushed 15 people to three hospitals including driver of the car and somebody in it. those with the worst injuries were brought to inova fairfax, a level one trauma center. three people were critical. it could have been worse were it not for the good samaritans who jumped in, lifted the bus and rendered emergency aid until police arrived. we do know that the bus driver was not hurt and did talk with police. kristin wright, back to you. >>> i'm erika gonzalez at the live desk. we understand that all lanes,

kristin, what did you think of it? >> i thought it was fascinating that we have now officially entered the i am rubber, you are glue election. donald trump in this speech took every criticism that bin laden him, that he still can't and impulsive, that people got for a while he got rich. he's taken all those things and turn them back on hillary clinton. he had a lot of really good one-liners where he said things like his campaign slogan is i'm with her, mine is i'm with you and took it to her in a way that didn't sound like he was joking. it didn't sound like sort of the more flippant tone we've heard from donald trump. this may be a speech where he was trying to really pivot to being a quote unquote serious sounding candidate, perhaps to ease the concerns of some establishment republicans who been getting pretty nervous about donald trump as we head for the convention. jon: jessica, specifically that line. the eye with her line, was that affected? >> totally. i thought it was a genius move. i thought this was certainly

. >> reporter: kristin, we spoke to miguel who survived in the bathroom. he described the chilling moments over that three hour. he was in the hostage situation, two and a half hours later after police made their way in and take out the gunman. he described the chilling scene. a handicap bathroom stall for some 31 people. only seven of those people made it out of that bathroom stall alive. he can hear the gunman laughing and shooting people. he can hear the sound of his clips falling out of his gun and reloading. people were in pain for hours as they were bleeding through the night waiting for help to arrive. miguel told us, he thought police did the best job they could. he can hear the suspect on the phone. he told us he was disgusted by the news that he was on facebook and text messaging with his wife as other innocent victims laid there and died. certainly the two and a half hours is a chilling scene and one he will never forget and he still has nightmares today. >> miguel, you have been out there for a number of days now. how is the community coping wh
