cnn's kyung lah has more. >> reporter: dave and christine, the 2020 democratic candidates attempt tothe impeachment of the president to politics. the sixth democratic debate is taking place tonight. seven of the candidates are here in los angeles preparing for the debate. three candidates will be jurors in the upcoming senate trial. bernie sanders, elizabeth warren and amy klobuchar. joe biden and his son, hunter, at the center of the president's conduct that led to his impeachment. these candidates will be out of public view in debate prep. cory booker is in campaigning in los angeles. senator booker and julian castro, candidates, did not qualify for this evening's debate. they have been talking increasingly, how the debate stage, with the exception of andrew yang, will be all-white. no black or latino candidates qualified for this evening's debate. so, what can you expect from this evening? expect separation from moderate candidates, and expect elizabeth warren to mention this -- 200-plus former obama administration and campaign workers have decided to publicly endorse her instead

she's really well liked among the kyung lah tyoun the young e. and a lot of the other candidates need to be doing more. because in 2020, the latino electorate will be the biggest ethnic voting bloc that we have seen in this country today. they could really swing the elections. even in pennsylvania, wisconsin, michig michigan. so it will be a very important voting bloc. they need to get them out there to vote and if they get them out there to vote in the numbers that latinos represent, it could be gameoff for t game over for the republicans. >> and i've been to many sander ocasio-cortez together. they seemed like an odd couple, but an amazing amount of chemistry between the two of them and they are bringing huge crowds. so you're right, that impact is huge. let's talk about the impeachment process. so much of this final ramp to iowa will impact the impeachment trial. it could com nature tkocould do january. and joe biden has gone back and forth trying to clarify where he would stand if issued a subpoena to testify. he has been forced to answer yes

cnn's kyung lah spoke with liberal voters in milwaukee to see if they think the impeachment inquiry iswere you imbibing or were they? >> they were because if i have anything, i turn bright red. what i will tell you is here in the city of milwaukee, those happy drinkers, they are part of a blue city. this is a city that democrats learned in 2016 that if you don't win here, you can potentially lose the state. so we spent some time with these progressive democrats, and they say, look, impeachment is coming. we're going to embrace it and use it to boost enthusiasm. >> now live from the heart of liberal wisconsin, where the political party is just beginning. >> reporter: a drop of blue -- >> the impeachment of donald trump, it continues. >> reporter: -- in a sea of conservative talk radio in wisconsin. two progressives, pounding impeachment. >> impeachment is this sort of an optional thing. >> reporter: to sway whatever swayable voters are listening to one of the only left-leaning talk radio stations in this swing state. >> and will you, sir, be on the right side of history for a change? >>
