former la cross player molly said just days before yardly love's death, she shared a hotel room with love and love read her a e-mail from george hugely which read i should have killed you. prosecutors say he was angry that love had hooked up with university of north carolina la cross player mike burns. he also testified about his on again, off again relationship with love. he said in february, less than three months before love's death, he saw hugely choking her. he demonstrated the choke hold on the prosecutor. we heard from bryan carol who said hugely's behavior had become erratic and he was drinking heavily. the other woman in hugely life testified as well. she said she was seeing hugely twice a week. first responders testified about the injuries they saw on love's face and thundershower unsuccessful attempts to revive here. the purpose of all this, the prosecution attempting to prove that he not only killed love but he intended to do it. when the defense presents they will try to prove he had no intention of killing her. >>> if you want more information on the trial, al you have

hugly was let in, the former la crosse player, lumbered into the courtroom. sheriff's deputies have strapped heavy weights around his ankles to slow him down if he tries to escape. hugly's family sits right behind him on one side of the courtroom, but he doesn't even seem to look at his parents. victim yardley love's family sits on the other side of the courtroom, many of them wearing pink scarves or pink coats. one potential juror turned up wearing a pink scarf too. the judge dismissed her. another juror was almost in tear as she talked about her own daughter who is almost the same age as yardley love. she says she really felt connected to the victim. she was dismissed as well. the judge has dismissed 10 of the 15 potential jurors object on the morning panel, but things seem to be picking up. the judge is hoping to seat a jury by the end of today. j.c. >> thank you very much, bruce lashan. we'll hear from him this afternoon. >>> a high-ranking official at the komen for the cure breast cancer charity has resigned over the organization's funding controversy. t

and fellow la crosse player yardley love. jurors are now hearing from the medical examiner who performed that autopsy on love. julie carey is live at the courthouse once again in charlottesville. >> reporter: dr. william gormley is the assistant chief medical examiner at the state crime lab and he catalogued the many injuries to the battered body of yardley love during his autopsy. he also cited at least two injuries that could have caused her death -- pressure to her neck so great that it caused a hemorrhage near her carotid artery and another blow to the head that caused a hemorrhage there. before dr. gormley took the stand prosecutors presented the rest of the physical evidence taken both from yardley love's apartment and that of her accused killer george huguely. for days police have carried box after box of physical evidence into the courtroom. today one item after the other was identified by charlottesville police and presented to the jury. and for the first time it was revealed that possible blood stains were discovere
