trapped inside their car after accidentally driving it into lake ray hubbard. >> they are screaming help help me and telling me at the same time, i can't swim. >> reporter: the 2-year-old deputy kevin rowan, with seconds to react, ditched his utility belt and swam out to the sinkle honda civic. he was on routine patrol checking the boat ramps at robertson park when he spotted brake lights sticking up out of the lake. inside the car, the two women and water was quickly filling it. rowan says he used his window bunch to break one. back windows to get them out. >> when the second one came out, she kind of landed on top of my head and i go under for a second. when i turn around, i see the other one going under water. so i was able to grab her and kind of grab them like this and was able to walk out. >> reporter: they were two young women. a 20-year-old woman says she got lost on her way home. she was talking to her dad on the phone about being lost when suddenly they realized they were in the water. she called 911 but the air space was disappearing fast. >> the water was up to my neck and th
