right now we could see snow showers in this year is in the winter weather advisory in place for lake tahoe tonight into tomorrow morning. back here in the bay area we have some lingering clouds in the south bay. the weather story is space-bar tonight. changes for showers on wednesday and the extended forecast predict no major heat waves in sight. as far as temperatures the range for tomorrow is not much. about 75 to about 78 degrees. look at all of the activity to the east of the bay area. we have a lot of pressure over the state and partly sunny skies for tomorrow. there is a slight chance of a sprinkle convertible bump up the chances somewhat as we head into wednesday. temperatures remain on the cool side could lead to the east of the bay area especially out towards lake tahoe. snow levels coming down to around 7500 feet. as far as the rain chance there's not a lot to show you tomorrow morning. there could be a sprinkle in this forecast model and parts of the south bay. we will be watching and on wednesday that could be the best chance created for tomorrow morning partly to mostly cloudy

what we have happening is this upper area of low pressure over lake tahoe. you can see a little bit of spinning actually producing some snowfall at lake tahoe. for us, we're clear, we're dry, but we have that cold air wrapped around it that we're dealing with, and in the sierras tonight, three to five inches of snow expected in the high levels of the summit with this cold high pressure. the jet stream is going to stay to the south right at about thursday of this week, so it's basically going to keep temperatures on the cool side for us and feel like the end of november rather than the beginning of october. so these conditions will be in the 60s and just low 70s here for us. we're not looking for any showers. by 6:00 p.m. tuesday, still dry. it's not until 6:00 a.m. wednesday that we get into a chance of showers here, and that may linger into wednesday as well. overall, we're not expecting high totals but still, some uncharacteristically early snowfall for us on wednesday. temperatures in the low 50s, and by 10:00 a.m. in the east bay, we're looking at temper

south lake tahoe where we had clouds, those clouds all associated with an inside slighter that did spillops over towards the yosemite area and lightning bolts as well. those clouds history now being replaced by our clouds which is in the form of low clouds and patchy fog. that's how we will rise and shine tomorrow morning, official sun up at 6:55, we'll see it because it will be matched for the most part right around the immediate coast and the bay. just thought i would put it up one more time in case you missed it the first time. here you go. low clouds and fog aching it inland all the way 60 miles towards the ultimate pass. these clouds begin a retreat towards the bay let's say by mid-morning hours with only afternoon partial clearing at best at the med sea shore. they won't see that much sun at all. you know what was interesting earlier, lots of subtropical moisture making its way up from mexico into southern california, where we did see the thunderstorms around yosemite. didn't quite make it into the yosemite area where we had 100 degrees. numbers going down. cooler trends, pacifica.
