near lakeshore avenue. chp is diverting traffic, and there have been reports of fireworks in the area. authorities say there have been two reports of vandalism. one police car was spray-painted with graffiti at 7th street/jackson, and a chase bank window at 20th street and webster was broken. police have made multiple arrests. officers in oakland were being pelted by rocks and bottles while attempting to keep protesters off the freeway. oakland police tweeted out a picture of some of the rocks thrown at law enforcenet. tensions are high. the protestors out on the street in the bay area tonight are not the only ones reacting to the. ferguson decision. we also heard from bay area civic leaders and activists . familiar with these kinds of cases. kron four's jeff bush reports on that part of the story. in this case the evidence supported the police officers' conduct i did listen to the news conference with a local prosecutor described the process and it certainly sounded to me that it was thorough the attorneys
