we're still keeping four lanes of traffic, two lanes in each direction and as we mentioned already, market would be car free east of 12 streets. what this means is that we'll be able to make the centre lane muni only. meaning there would not be a bus and taxi lane like it is today. taxis would be sharing the curb lane with local buses, commercial vehicles and paratransit. we have a bike lane, continuous from octavia to the ferry plaza. typically as christina described it's eight feet wide but we've had to make design modifications. so what this graph is showing, on the left side, where we have a curbside transit stop, we have narrowed the bike way to about six feet wide to fit in that curbside transit stop. with the bicycle way going behind it. on the right side, where we have a centre boarding island, we have maintained the sidewalk level bike lane at about eight feet but that buffer space is eliminated. however, throughout the whole corridor, we're still maintaining that street life zone which is a buffer between the bicycle space and pedestrian free zone. i'll go through the other trans

you can see the lanes on northbound 101 are open. some lanes are shut down. they are making progress in cleaning up the vehicles. northbound 101 will be slow. it begins to slow north of south city and, as you can see, they still have the investigation team here still doing its work along northbound 101 but they have this happened at let's talk about the alternate routes you can use the 280 northbound through daly city over to maze that way would be a decent route and southbound 101, the lanes are open for the could be a touch of a slowdown as you drive by. the rest of the commute, east bay sticks out for one reason. the niles canyon road is now closed between interstate 680 and fremont boulevard because of an injury accident involving an overturned vehicle near paula morris and that will be closed. 680 is slowing down at her pleasanton as people come down to that closure. you can see south bay commute is looking very good. we have some slowing on highway four and 680 but those are routine. and northbound to any traffic looks all right. coming through here wit
