it is spilling over in the bike lane. kpix 5's jackie ward is in san francisco this morning following this friction between cyclists, drivers, and restaurant valets. good monica jackie. >> it is not a grave situation. we are by a water bar . two popular restaurants here along the embarcadero. this is the stretch that we're talking about. this part of the embarcadero, where a lot of people are trying to cram onto it at once. the issue here, where there's a bike lane and a white zone. cars are parked by valets. or drivers across the bike lane to use the one. both cases, many cyclists say they are forced to go into the car lanes of traffic as we can see such a domino effect every problem. they are stepping in. they plan is to improve this area. >> a lot of times, they can't see me. people are pulling off just to park. >> they will block the valet because it is convenient. and the problem is that i have to go into traffic. and that traffic can be very dense. it can be a a bust that i cannot move into. so it can be very scary.
