there will be increased ferry services out of larkspur and sausalito.an, kpix 5. >> we are closely watching alternates to the bay bridge this morning and it's slowing on the approach to the san mateo bridge southbound 880 taking a bulk of the traffic this morning. crowded on the san mateo bridge and things could fill in fast in the westbound lanes but for right now we'll focus on the traffic sensors. you will see 40, 33 miles per hour. that's the slowest spot and it's beginning to get a little backed up as well in westbound 580 as you head towards the castro valley y. so again 238 southbound 880, that's taking a lot of detoured traffic. this is the a live look. farther north the nimitz freeway in oakland and for right now both directions are still looking good as you pass the oakland coliseum. fortunately, not a lot of accidents on the road. we are crossing our fingers that will be the case throughout the morning. mass transit, nothing really reporting any delays. no delay for bart. they are offering 24-hour service once again. ferries ramping things up
