that was their impression of larry. he furthered this impression by saying odd things to people like his best friends he told he was going to make a lot of money and live far away and never talk to them again, which his best friend some sort of took offense to ancillary fault that this was totally acceptable. he told them he was going to make a lot of money and catholics don't get a divorce and he didn't want to get half of his fortune to a catholic girl, to a woman. he told them he wanted to be an actor and wanted to be an evangelist said he would study jimmy swaggart late at night and he got the picture of his always said he could study how this man manipulated and hypnotized people with his eye is. he also will fight his mother for some reason. he would tell friends about all these wonderful things he would do like hayrides and he had to keep his job at cambridge which is about three and half hour drive back and forth coming and he would say she did all these great things for me like this very odd way of talking to p

i'm larry kudlow. this is "the kudlow report." our top story tonight, i have been hollering this from the mountains for weeks. we will be in recession unless the fiscal cliff is fixed. today, the congressional budget office crunched the numbers to say a recession will actually happen if there is no fix. and unfortunately for the fourth straight year, a $1 trillion budget deficit. they are calling for a 9% unemployment rate for next year and the gdp of negative 0.5%. but the tax hike will kill the economy, not spending cuts. we are going to get into that in a moment. meanwhile, the latest federal reserve minutes show bernanke and company clearly poised to add stimulus to the economy. surprisingly, stocks had very little reaction to this. the dow fell 31 points on the day. gold and oil rallied. i don't think more quantitative easing from the fed will do any good at all for this anemic economy. meanwhile, paul ryan takes aim at obama's imaginary recovery and calls for full scale tax reform to grow the eco

i am larry biel. abc7 news and our media partner california watch have uncovered a series of taser gun assaults on severely disabled patients at the sonoma developmental center. way learned that a long-time staffer may be responsible for those assaults. abc7 news reporter vic lle joins us with the story. >> the director of sonoma's developmental center were fired. several other employees were let go as well or disciplined over the incident. now we have seen the documents from the in house investigation, and they tell us just how serious this case is. sonoma developmental center is nestled in the town of eldridge sonoma county. this sprawling facility is one of five state-run institutions that care for patients with developmental supervision. they have their own in house sworn police force called opf, the office of protective services. last september the director received a message on his answering machine. the anonymous caller said someone had a stun gun and was using it on patients. the man was ident
