larry beil has the day off. internate 580 near lake shore just reopened and traffic was so bad cars were going over a small divider just to get off the freeway. >> a live report now with the latest. >> reporter: as we were trying to get to the scene, eastbound 5880 opened within the last ten minutes. chp had shut it down about an hour prior to that for the shooting investigation. the roadblock occurring at harrison street. we can assume that the shooting happened somewhere in that vicinity. as i drove by the scene on my way to work this afternoon, i could see officers looking for evidence. i was headed westbound on 580, and that was moving smoothly and as you can see from the sky 7 footage this roadblock snarled traffic ahead of the evening commute. as far as we know, there are no injuries. this is the same location of a shooting back on november 30. i did see a vehicle and a tow truck on 580 with a chp vehicle next to it. it's unclear if that's involved with this at all or if perhaps it is someone who ran out o
