liz: fox news' laura ingle is digging into this story. are calling oncology billing the wild west of medicine as hospitals across the nation buy up oncology practices and then turn them into hospital outpatient centers. even though a patient is treated by the same doctor and receives the same treatment, the center can charge more more overhead. patients like beverly brown who we spoke to, a breast cancer patient, says her chemotherapy bills have gone from roughly $6,000 every three weeks to $15,000 for the same time period. >> if you're going to take aspirin, you know that, you know where you can get it, and you know how much it costs. but this is a different kind of a drug, and so you're basically at their mercy and what they want to charge for it. >> reporter: and in a legal loophole, some of these medical centers generate additional revenue by treating their insured patients with drugs purchased under a federal program called 340b which is intended to help the needy gain access to expensive treatment. now some insurers are starting to

laura ingle joins us live with the story. what is going on? >> hi, shannon.ct just made his first appearance in brooklyn criminal court. prosecutors asked for $25,000 bail due to the severity and danger of this security breach. in the end, the judge set bail at $5,000. the 24-year-old russian citizen surrendered his passport and was ordered back to court this friday. he came into the courtroom with his head hung low looking serious. he listened intently to the charges against him with the help of an interpreter. we learned today that he is here in new york as part of a russian tour group and that he climbed the bridge for "fun." well, that "fun" that he claimed to be having was a perilous walk up one of brooklyn bridge's cable beams around 12:15 p.m. yesterday. an nypd sergeant first spotted him making his way up to the top of the bridge's platform which by the way is 276 feet tall. russian tourist was taken into custody as he descended the tower. >>> and you know he is facing multiple charges. we want to mention them, including reckless endangerment, crimina

. >> laura ingle, thank you. >>> the feds now investigating a possible cyberattack targeting at leastive american banks including the nation's largest, jpmorgan chase. that's according to multiple news outlets. attackers reportedly stole large amounts of computer data including customers' account information. bloomberg news reports the fbi is looking into whether this was the work of russian hackers in retaliation for recent u.s. economic sanctions again russia. jpmorgan has not confirmed that. a spokesman says the investigators are still looking into it. the bank serves more than 30 million customers. gerri willis, hearst of "the willis report" on fox business, joins us. what did they sale? >> original reports, jon, were that they stole sensitive data. they didn't say what that was. but "the new york times" reported that it's checking account investigation, savings account information. this is a critically important story. >> and they're -- this apparently would have targeted individuals. it's not -- you know, bank information, it's the private information for people like you and me.
