lauren simonetti looking on the u.s. debt pile-on. it's much bigger than we think. >> much bigger than we think. the numbers i'm about to give you make the numbers that emac and jeff flock give you ridiculous. it breaks down to $18 trillion total. 18 trillion and growing. per year, that's $855 billion. more than $2 billion a day. $98 million an hour, and $27,000 per second. pretty unbelievable numbers. and i've been going through a bunch of reports and it's amazing, if you look at greece 25 years ago, they had the same debt to gdp ratio that we have in the u.s. right now. 74%. there's a fear that the next decade, two decades, three decades from now, we could be greece with a debt to gdp level topping 100%. neil: incredible. lauren, thank you very much. just to put this in perspective, you think, neil, you're such a numbers nerd, yes, i am, that didn't make me popular in school, but i was kind of smart. money in, money out, we are reaching a breaking point. remember when i had paul volcker here, the former federal reserve chairman who

lauren simonetti says you've got to wonder. what's going on? >> you do have to wonder. it feels like 1999; right? when you have the nasdaq at a record high and a startup that doesn't have any and evan likely won't have frozen years to come, neil. it's potentially value at $3 billion. when you put that $3 billion in perspective for you. it's probably the biggest prelaunch valuation for a startup we've ever seen. this is what jet.com says. and, by the way, they launch tomorrow. they charge members $50 a year and they promise to under cut amazon prices even if that means they take a loss. they say by the year 2020 they'll be able to bring in $20 billion in sales. and for them that's a good number. to give you a perspective on $20 billion in sales. that's about a quarter of what amazon does and while amazon is 20 years old, let me show you the evaluations of walmart and amston now. and they're both well above $200 billion. so obviously jet.com at the very earlier stages will be a small player. e-commerce overall, this is a huge market, 300 billion in sales and growing and,

keith, in terms of don't forget to start your day every day, nicole, sandra smith, lauren simonetti ont here on the fox business network 5:00 a.m. before mornings. we're getting our first look at the markets from fbaam every day. -- "fbn:am." you're thoughts on polled and dollar and macro picture. >> 30 minutes apple will be yesterday's news. tomorrow's news will be deflation. we have gold on the lows. oil on the lows. really only five companies in energy on s&p 500 reported earnings. none of these companies guided to the appropriate levels on commodity prices. i think deflation by far is the biggest risk in macro markets. it is finding its way into the industrials. industrials is a sector we don't like at all. if you have no pricing power on flow-through which a lot of companies have long-term perspective including weak dollar. now they have neither. they have weak selling prices and strong dollar. industrials on earnings season to date, 4% down revenues and 8% earnings and all the stocks look like hell. maria: industrial area is also subject to the strong dollar. that is an issue. >>
