we have king lear, the tempest, othello. these books are precious. you see the red stamp of the negro public library. these are called pocket books, very common at the time. and there are several that we have. books thatle pocket .ere lended out i think it is wonderful the library have these. here isk we have right titled camille, by dumas. it is a lovely book from the library. it has an interesting cover. public the red negro library stamp from tyler, texas. upside down is, property of library, the rural library i have never heard of. it is interesting, showing how this has traveled. once again, it is on the inside. lovely book that is in pretty great condition, considering how old it is. it still has the card inside. we have 12 different old testament volumes in the library. you can pull this back. this is what i was remembering. the dates right here in the back. most of these dates say 1922. where wasou wonder, this book before the library, which opened in the 1940's? this is an autobiography of fel lini. it has the pretty goldleaf and lovely rust
