meredith: officers say an 81-year-old driver died after crashing his car in leesburg. wesh 2' s summer knowles is there with what unfolded moments after the crash. meredith: two summer: we are standing were you can see the tire marks on this grass. the man was 81-year-old howard witt. this is video we got from a witness who heard the crash and ran outside with her cell phone. at one point, you will see authorities breaking the window to get mr. witt out of the car. police responded to the call of a single vehicle crash at u.s. 27 and vine street. detectives discovered the 81-year-old of leesburg had been involved in a road rage incident south of the crash site of the motel. after that incident, witnesses told police he was headed north when he veered into oncoming traffic and crashed into a tree. he was later taken to the hospital where he died. tonight, this is the tree he crashed into. you can still see shattered because -- the cause of this crash is still under investigation. if anyone saw something and has not reported it, it there asking that you call leesburg pol
