she's surveying the roads in lehigh valley. montgomery county was the last stop. >> reporter: in coopers berg lehigh county you can see traffic is fairly light. people are taking it easy and have heeded the warnings about staying off the road. i spoke with emergency management officials in the county and they tell us they're preparing to staff up their storm center when the bulk of the snow is expected to start falling. take a look at the roads. you can tell salt trucks have been here, pretreating, salting and brining and pretreating the roads. we've seen plows come through. one thing the townships are asking you to do is abide by the snow emergencies. stay off the roads. that's going to help the townships and the county and the state get through on those roads and get the roads clear. also in allentown, they're offering up four parking decks for people to park to get off the streets and the allentown city hall asking you, do not call 911 if you have questions. instead, call the city snow emergency line. deanna durante, "nbc10

below zero through lehigh valley. tomorrow morning, feeling below zero especially areas north and west. possibly around 5 degrees below zero. poconos, minus 20. saturday, 7:00 in the morning along the i-95 core doeshgs even around new jersey feeling close to zero. south jersey and delaware feeling like zero degrees or like single digits. then we go into sunday. here's a storm we've been telling you about. this is one of the first tracks we'll be watching as we go into sunday and monday. we'll be watching this closely. this track could be giving more rain to the south. and the rain/snow line closer to philadelphia. a different track we're watching, this will give more snow to the north and rain farther to the south. we'll see more snow out of this win. rain stays farther to the south. this is something we'll watch closely as we go into sunday. as far as the snow chances are concerned, we're talking about possibly 4 inches or more. it depends on who sees the rain. as of now, the lowest chances of seeing 4 inches or more

as we go hour by hour through the poconos and the lehigh valley . what is left disappears.there's 8:00 a.m. and we're drier. now there may be other precipitation during the day, the steady hour-by-hour big accumulating snow has been cut off for much of the area. another band coming through in the early afternoon. temperatures gem abovenerally above freezing, a little accumulation on the grassy surfaces and then by 3:00 we're pretty much done. that's north and west. i-95 corridor look at this. we're going to be seeing the rain breaking up . there will be some coming back. the temperature just barely above freezing. so in most cases be able to get around except on some of the side streets and then here is that band of snow coming through early in the afternoon. temperatures again generally a little bit above freezing so the main roads generally wet. there's 4:00 . again, a little bit above freezing. so overall the worst conditions of this storm are happening right now or happened in the last hour or two. so this storm moves off pretty quickly . we have that band of snow on th

you're not seeing sun in the lehigh valley. 35 in millville. dover, 39. we're seeing the winds shifting out of the south/southwest that's why we're so much milder down hear. yesterday was bone-chilling cold with highs in the teens and 20s. we have a chill in the air. wilmington feels like 26. even though you're closing in on 40. trenton, 25. here's the satellite and radar you can see the cloud line that's running parallel to the turnpike this afternoon. everybody north of that cloudy, everybody south of that we're seeing sunshine here. that's why i'm picking up the warmer temperatures, starting to see the mixed precip out there across the ohio that's the beginning of the leading edges of our next weather maker that gets in here monday morning. the wired view shows a close up of it. all that moisture racing off to the northeast. we're picking up wintery precipitation down into little rock arkansas. northern arkansas, southern portions of missouri, sleet and freezing rain, light snow in northern kentucky and southern portions of indiana. the cold will ease
