leland road is probably your best bet for an alternate south of highway 4. it parallels the freeway. hopefully, that will help you avoid some delays. 101 at whipple we have the report of a crash. it looks like it is off to the right shoulder. it doesn't look like it is causing any delays. checking the maps, we see sensors clocking nice speeds working your way north and southbound. it is not causing too many problems this morning. the rest of the peninsula is pretty quiet. we had an earlier trouble spot 280 right at alpine in the clearing stages. it never affected the main lanes of 280, just a offramp. the bay bridge is quiet. if you're commuting out of the oakland area, east bay, coming up the eastshore freeway, getting to the bay bridge is pretty easy with an easy ride heading into the city with no delays getting into san francisco. checking our drive times on the east shore, only 16 minutes to go from highway 4 to the maze. that stalled vehicle is really not causing any delays. it looks like it could be cleared out of lanes to the right shoulder. altamont
