leslie brinkley is live in martinez with the very latest. leslie? >> 55 firefighters showed up here to fight a fire here at conia costa medical center and triggered fires alarms around 2:00 this afternoon and resulted in the evacuation of two floors of this knife-story hospital. the first floor, the second floor. critical to this is the second floor houses the operating rooms, and from what i understand there were patients in surgery, two of them. they were able to finish the surgery and evacuate those patients up to the third floor to icu where they were stabilized. patients going into surgery were taken outside the hospital and a total of nine patients evacuated along with staff. that included non-operational elevators in the hospital and patients jibd to me smelling smoke and one daughter was out for surgery and they had to get dressed and back out the door again because of the fire. the hospital is not taking any ambulance traffic at this hour telling people not to come to the hospital. they are not accepting any patients and diverting them to o
