i thought that i learned about it when i was talking to scoot over -- scooter libby.if after reading the books that i discovered my testimony had been wrong because i had misinterpreted these very brief references to her that i had in my notebook. i felt horrible and consumed with guilt. i said i had learned it from hand. but when i began researching the memory but we remember and what we don't, what i have done was one of the most common memory errors and was part of the scooter libby defense team is never permitted to offer in any detail to the jury. almost every witness that testified against him actually you can see differences between what they told the grand jury, but they told the fbi. i'm very open about my views on this and once it was determined by the cia and if it is determined long before scooter libby, that there was no damage to her no damage to the national security, no damage to any source at home or abroad. so that investigation should have ended because there was a special prosecutor it didn't end. it went on and on and on and consumed a huge amount
