it happened last night at the corner of 8th and lind lin den near highway 101. tara joins us from south san francisco with the story. >>> good morning. we are here at 8th and lenden. this is a one way alley where when police arrived last night they found three victims lying in the streets. also where detectives have circled spots on the ground where the bullet casings were found. this happened around 7:15 last night. police say two people were kill and had four wounded after a drive-by shooting, possibly gang-related. two victims pronounced dead at the scene. they have not yet been identified. another victim was rushed to the hospital where at last check he was in critical condition. now some neighbors around here believe that this shooting may be tied to ongoing trouble with some young people living in nearby san bruno. >> we're talking about the people that we think did it to our other friend. >> reporter: from where? >> san bruno, we're not sure. >> reporter: are they in a gang? those other people? >> yes. >> reporter: what gang? >> i don't know. >> reporter:

in all six people were shot at the corner of eighth and lin den last night. live with more on the update. tara. >> reporter: kraig, police have not provided us with official confirmation, but a friend of one of the victims tells us that a third person has now died. now we did speak with the patrol officer this morning. he was coming through this alley way. police have definitely stepped up their patrols. he tells us this neighborhood has been plagued by gangs for quite some time. you can see there are some candles lit here. you can also see these chalk circles. these are where bullet casings were found. there are several of them all over the alley way which has now been hosed down. this incident happened last night just after 7:00. around 7:15 at the corner of eighth and lenden streets. police say at least two people were killed under a hail of bullets and four wounded after a drive-by shooting most likely gang-related. two victims pronounced dead at the scene. they have not yet been identified. another victim was rushed to the hospital where sources tell us
