i'm lindsay murphy. days of park the redskins wrapped up their first week of organized team activities yesterday. like many others, they're off this holiday weekend before round to begins on tuesday. when robert griffin iii takes the field in the regular season, he will have a first of its kind uniform. for the first time in a major american sport, a roman numeral will be allowed on a jersey. the n.f.l. changed the rule this off- season to allow for roman numerals. they will also allow junior and senior distinctions. >>> this weekend is a big weekend for maryland lacrosse. tonight the women will face off northwestern in the semifinals at 8:00 p.m. this is the terps fourth consecutive final four appearance and nation best 20th overall in program history. on the men's side the unseated terps will face duke. it will be the third meeting between the two teams with each taking a game. maryland beat john hopkins 11-5 last weekend. so the winner tomorrow moves on to the national championship game on monday. the
