fox5's lindsay watts broke the story last june.ess for answer for the community. my children, our children, our teachers have been disis happened in our school system. at the most recent school board meeting parents were furious. when you go to the polls this november, vote them all out. some calling for the school's ceo and board chair to resign. prince george's county knew about mismanagement of student records. this after fox5 uncovered shocking new information. i saw that fox news broke a story that there was an internal audit done by prince george's county officials in 2015. we've told you how a recent state audit found that prince george's county students are graduating without meeting requirements and mismanagement of student records. turns out the school system performed its own audit a year and a half ago that found these same things. yes yet top management at the school system never mentioned it in the lead up to the state audit instead they adamantly denied that there was any problem. back in june fox5 showed you teacher

lindsay watts is live with a warning and some advice tonight. lindsay? >>reporter: d.c. council member robert white says especially this time of year people have to be careful about leaving valuables and gifts inside their vehicles. this is one of the cars that was hit this morning. council member white thinks the thieves were just searching for anything of value inside his car they wife's car and that allow them to steal it. so one car stolen, multiple cars damaged just on this street. what i'm hearing is that there are rashes of break-ins certain times of the year certainly during the holidays one of my law school classmates reached out to say that a number of cars were broken into her neighborhood in d.c. as well. here's a look at cars that were damaged. white realized this had happened around 6:00 this morning. he said this kind of thing typically doesn't happen in his neighborhood, but clearly a crime that can happen anywhere. he has surveillance cameras that caught at least two of the thie ves on camera and he has turned that over to d.c. police he wants to make su
