we're going to start a half hour of this show with a look at weather with meteorologist lisa argen. morning, lisa. we've been talking about clear skies. but change is on the way. >> good morning, kate. you can see the flag behind me. we've got on shore winds ushering in a stiff sea breeze later on. it's going to allow for a cool day. really all around the bay area. we were cool yesterday and little changes today. except for tonight. things are going to switch up. it's 56 downtown. a look from the exploratorium camera, temperatures ranging from the mid and upper 50s santa rosa and novato. 13 degrees warmer than you were early this morning. you were in the 40s. now in the 60s in concord and livermore. and throughout the afternoon, you'll notice that the fog is being swept away from the san mateo coast and then by about 2:00 in the afternoon, we've got low to mid-80s. the 60s and 70s. by later on the fog is not with us. it is going away for several days. we're going to see down sloping winds, a rapid warmup into your monday afternoon and high fire danger. we'll talk in detail about it

li lisa argen is tracking conditions. >> we have to wait another 48 hours for a cooldown for the weather to cooperate. as we look on doppler 7 in and around the fire area, we're looking at temperatures in the 80s right now. relative humidity is low. wind is variable around 8, sometimes gusting to 13 miles an hour. we could have wind from 10 miles an hour anywhere to 15 miles an hour and breezes picking up once again. tomorrow temperatures will be warm in the upper 80s and we're expecting a cooldown to head our way tuesday, wednesday, even lasting into thursday. certainly that will help. it will bring up the relative humidity. not going to get too much in the way of fog but those cooler temperatures certainly will help out and it looks like temperature will warm up just a little bit the end of the week. for the short term, it's breezy, still quite warm and we're not going to see any help from the marine layer any time soon. >> the cooler temperatures, wish they were a little built quicker. >>> to our north now, interstate 5 remains closed because of a wildfire in shasta county. the fire s
